LEADERSHIP
John is the Lead Pastor and Elder of Grace City Rome. He has held many previous roles in ministry, including serving as a foreign missionary in Central America. John is a war veteran and Special Operations soldier, having served in the 2nd Ranger Battalion. He is also a content creator, speaker, and national bestselling author. John works full-time in the company he founded and loves to volunteer his time to preaching the gospel and building Jesus’ church. He lives on a homestead with his wife Rebekah and their two sons.

Chris Speten | Executive Pastor
Chris is an Executive Pastor and Elder at Grace City Rome. After two decades in business, he answered the call to full-time ministry in 2011 and served as Executive Pastor of Grace City Church in Wenatchee, Washington. In 2023, he and his wife, Renae, relocated to Georgia to help plant this church with the Lovells. He oversees the church’s finances, facilities, and administration. Chris and Renae live on a homestead outside Rome and have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
Levi Smith | Executive Pastor
Levi is an Executive Pastor at Grace City Rome and a lifelong Roman with deep roots in the community. After 15 years in the timber industry, he moved into real estate in 2023. Following a clear call from the Lord, he joined the Grace City team full time in July 2025. He oversees Grace Teams, gatherings, events, and many of the church’s day-to-day operations. Levi lives on a farm in Rome with his wife, Brittany, and their three children.
Andy Middleton | Youth Pastor
Andy is the Youth Pastor and City Group Pastor at Grace City Rome. He previously served in youth ministry for seven years and has also been a City Group leader, Grace Kids leader, and Connect Team leader. He has a passion to see the next generation experience the transforming presence of the living God and, from that place, find their identity and mission in life. Andy has been married to Danica for 15 years. They have been entrusted with eight adventurous children.
