John is the Preaching Pastor of Grace City Church in Rome, GA. He has held many previous roles in ministry, including serving as a foreign missionary in Central America. John is a former war veteran and Special Operations soldier, having served in the 2nd Ranger Battalion. He is also a video content creator, speaker, and national bestselling author. John works full-time in the company he founded and loves to give his free time to sharing the gospel and building Jesus’ church. He lives on a homestead with his wife Rebekah and their two sons.

Chris is the Executive Pastor of Grace City Church in Rome, GA. He began his full-time ministry career over 12 years ago at Grace City’s home church in Wenatchee, WA. Chris and his wife, Renae, recently relocated to Georgia to help plant this new church. Chris oversees the operations of Grace City Rome, including finances, facilities, governance, teams, groups, membership, events, and Sunday gatherings.

When John, a busy entrepreneur and successful businessman, decided to answer the call of God on his life to preach the gospel, there was only one problem: How? How do you start a church from scratch? The details were yet to be determined, but the desire to preach was strong. And with the support and encouragement of many trusted advisors, the decision was made. But, what’s next?
Chris spent over a decade as Executive Pastor of Grace City Church in Washington and helped other churches establish healthy systems too. With his unique skill set, Chris was seeking a new challenge that would allow him to exercise those gifts in new and exciting ways.
At just the right time, God brought John and Chris’ paths together. John needed a platform where he could fulfill his calling to preach the gospel, while Chris longed to plant a new church where the gospel could be preached. It was a match made in heaven, literally. ;)
On July 2, 2023, the church was born. With only John’s wife and kids in attendance at a park in Rome, Georgia, the journey began. From this humble beginning, the church started to grow. We invite you to come check us out!
